The new senior centre provides the Ballarat and Clarendon College with a much-needed educational setting for the senior students on the campus.

 

From an educational point of view its primary intention is to provide focused individual classrooms and an all-important 200+ set lecture theatre. This allows the senior students some insight into educational delivery in the tertiary sector, but importantly it creates an opportunity for all senior students to gather in one spot to hear visiting speakers and or guest lecturers.

 

The building also provides an informal gathering / learning space of the main foyer equipped with computer access and screen based information delivery
